Steelers Suffer Several Injuries In Embarrassing Loss To Eagles

The Pittsburgh Steelers were blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles 34-3 on Sunday and if that wasn’t enough, the team also suffered several injuries during the game.

During his post game press conference, head coach Mike Tomlin recapped the health of his team.

According to Tomlin, Shazier re-aggregated his MCL during the first quarter of the game. Additionally, he said that safety Robert Golden suffered a hamstring injury. While Shazier tried to return to the game, he eventually bowed out for good during the second quarter. Golden, on the other hand, never returned to the game and was replaced by rookie safety Sean Davis.
