The Steelers placed cornerback Senquez Golson and offensive tackle Ryan Harris on injured reserve Saturday and signed cornerback Al-Hajj Shabazz and offensive lineman Matt Feiler to the 53-man roster.
Golson and Harris are the second and third Steelers to be placed on injured reserve this season. Outside linebacker Bud Dupree was placed on injured reserve before the season after undergoing abdominal surgery.
Only one player each season can be brought back to the active roster from injured reserve, meaning either Dupree or Golson’s season is over. Dupree, a starting outside linebacker, said last week he was not close to resuming football-related training.
