It was reported by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN that Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro defensive tackle Cam Heyward would be skipping out on OTAs as he seeks a contract extension. The 35 year old confirmed this report on the latest episode of Not Just Football.
“First of all, it’s voluntary- let’s get that straight,” Heyward said. “I am working out and doing everything, but that’s it. I have always attended these, but at this time, it’s just contract negotiations. I want to be a Pittsburgh Steeler, but we will see what happens. You got to do what’s right for you.
