Steelers Draft: Second Round Pick Sean Davis

After going nearly twenty years from the last time they picked a cornerback in the first round the Steelers doubled down on corners with a first round pick of University of Miami’s Artie Burns in the first round and Maryland cornerback Sean Davis in the second round.

The Steelers certainly can’t be accused of neglecting the secondary now. Davis had three interceptions for Maryland in the 2015 season and 298 tackles in his three years as a starter.

The Steelers had their pick of a lot of defensive talent in the 58th spot with players like Ohio State safety Vonn Bell and Baylor defensive tackle Andrew Billings still on the board.
