Art Rooney stuck a knife this week in some notions that circulated around the Steelers lately.
Taking a page out of the playbook he used a year ago when he called Antonio Brown’s various antics in 2016 “little annoyances,” Rooney shrugged off many other aggravations that powered the 2017 melodrama known as the Pittsburgh Steelers.
They included all that looking ahead to the rematch against the New England Patriots by his coach and several players that was derailed by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He knocked down theories that the Steelers were not focused or not a disciplined group.
