Late round talent: A look back at the Pittsburgh Steelers 2002 draft class

The 2002 draft class yielded some disappointing busts, and some surprising late-round talent.

A look back at the 2002 draft class.

2002- The Steelers were coming off of a 13-3 2001 season under coach Cowher. Kordell Stewart was the team MVP, and Kendrell Bell was the Rookie of the Year.  George W. Bush was still president, The Bourne Identity debuted in theaters, and The Black Keys released their debut album, The Big Come Up. Kids born in 2002 become teenagers this year. Yeah, it’s been that long.

With all the hope placed in late-round picks, it seemed fitting to take a look at a draft class whose most formidable members were drafted in later rounds.
