Projecting the Steelers' finalized 53-man roster ahead of cut deadline

The deadline for NFL teams to shed rosters down to 53 players is 4 p.m. Tuesday.

As of this posting, the Steelers have made 20 cuts to their 90-man roster, with 17 remaining until the deadline. That includes the most recent wave of 10 players that were released Monday midday: Lavert Hill, Manny Jones, Tanner Muse, Toby Ndukwe, Le'Raven Clark, Bill Dunkle, Tanner Morgan, Darius Hagans, Jalen Elliott, and training camp surprise Kenny Robinson.

Assuming nobody else is traded prior to that deadline, here is our final projection for the Steelers' 53-man roster:

QUARTERBACK (3): Kenny Pickett, Mitch Trubisky, Mason Rudolph

Remember, a bylaw passed in May will allow for a team's QB3 -- Rudolph, in this case -- to be a roster-exempt position.
