Possible bullpen battle as Pirates face Phillies

BRADENTON, Fla. — Four pitchers who remain candidates for a spot in the bullpen are scheduled to pitch Sunday against the Phillies at Spectrum Field.

Josh Lindblom will start. Wade LeBlanc, A.J. Schugel and Jared Hughes will follow.

In nine innings of work this spring, Lindblom, a right-handed non-roster invitee, has allowed one unearned run and five hits. He has struck out seven and walked one, and allowed a .161 average against.

Schughel has given up six runs, five earned, in 82/3 innings, with 12 hits. LeBlanc has allowed six runs and 10 hits in 102/3 innings.
