The Bradenton Marauders had the most successful season out of any of the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league affiliates. The High-A affiliate went on to win their first Florida State League title. The top prospects who played a bulk of the for the Marauders this year include Yeudy Garcia, Stephen Tarpley, and Edgar Santana on the pitching side of things. Also some former higher draft picks in JT Brubaker, Austin Coley, Alex McRae, and Brandon Waddell.
As far as the hitters go the Marauders started the season with Pittsburgh Pirates 2015 first round pick Kevin Newman at shortstop and ended the year with 2014 first round pick Cole Tucker.
