Thomas Harrington made his Double-A debut for the Altoona Curve in game two of a double header on Sunday.
Harrington, who was drafted 36th overall in the 2022 draft, pitched three shutout innings, allowing no hits, one walk, and striking out four. This follows a rehab appearance in Bradenton where the right-hander threw three shutout innings, with one hit, one walk, and four strikeouts.
Last year, Harrington was one of the best pitchers in the Pirates system, combining for a 3.53 ERA in 127.1 innings between the two A-ball levels. That includes a 3.87 ERA in 88.
