The Pittsburgh Pirates have placed first baseman Josh Bell on the 10-day disabled list due to a left oblique strain. Bell was injured during an at-bat in the second inning of yesterday's game and did not come back out on defense in the top of the third. The Pirates have recalled Jose Osuna from Indianapolis to take Bell's place on the roster.
