The Pittsburgh Pirates have optioned catcher Jacob Stallings to Indianapolis. With the off-day on Monday, no corresponding move was announced.
Stallings was called up for the second time this season when Francisco Cervelli was placed on the disabled list on Thursday. He didn't get into any games this time with the Pirates, though he started two games earlier in June during the first time he was called up. Expect a second move to be announced prior to tomorrow's game, but we will update this article if anything is announced earlier....
