Pirates infielder/outfielder Corey Hart was in the clubhouse Monday and is going to give it one more shot to get back onto the roster.
Hart originally was put on the disabled list June 24 with a left shoulder impingement and then began his comeback in July but tweaked his right knee and was out again.
After spending a few weeks at home, he has returned and he is being evaluated by Pirates doctors. He will go to Indianapolis Thursday to start a rehab assignment.
If all goes well, perhaps he could come back in September when the rosters expand and provide a little punch as a pinch-hitter and spot starter.
