Felipe Vazquez wonders if he is tipping his pitches. He and the Pirates will check it out.

ST. LOUIS — As the Pirates and Felipe Vazquez attempt to address the issues that caused him to blow four saves in six appearances, they will check to see if he is tipping his pitches, Vazquez and manager Clint Hurdle said.

Vazquez gave up five runs, including a walk-off, three-run homer, without recording an out against the St. Louis Cardinals Thursday.

“It was probably not my day,” Vazquez said. “I was feeling good, I was making pitches like I did [before]. Probably they saw something that I didn’t know, because they were taking pitches like they knew they were coming.
