On Wednesday night in the Arizona Fall League, the Surprise Saguaros won 2-1 over Scottsdale to move to 4-3 on the season.
Jin-De Jhang was the only Pirates in the lineup. He batted eighth and caught for the second time. In his first at-bat, Jhang grounded out to second base to lead off the third inning. He was actually at the plate in the second inning with two outs and a runner on, but that runner was thrown out trying to steal second base. In the fifth inning, Jhang tied the score (1-1) on a sacrifice fly hit out to Tim Tebow in left field.
