Penguins defenseman Ian Cole remembers well what it was like playing against Patric Hornqvist while Cole was with the Blues and Hornqvist was a Nashville Predator.
Those memories are not among the fondest of Cole’s seven-year NHL career.
“He is flying around,” Cole said. “He goes to the net hard. He’s always banging at loose pucks, banging at the goalie. He usually does it within the rules but not all the time.
“He gets under your skin. He’s falling on the goalie. He’s mixing it up in front of the net. He not only does that, but he’s so skilled at playing in front of the net.
