Sidney Crosby thought slash by Alex Ovechkin was worse than it was

PITTSBURGH -- It was a slash that for a few minutes appeared to be a gigantic event.

But to the incredible relief of the Pittsburgh Penguins and their fans, captain Sidney Crosby returned. When you saw how angry he was going to the dressing room after taking a slash to the left hand from Alex Ovechkin in the third period, one wondered if it was indeed serious.

So did Crosby.

"Yeah, I thought it was worse than it was," Crosby said after the 3-2 overtime win in Game 4. "I don't think it was anything other than that.
