The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned defenseman Steve Oleksy to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.
The WBS Penguins are coming off a 4-0 win against the Hershey Bears in Game 1 of their second-round series thanks to a pair of goals from Daniel Sprong and a 33-save shutout from Casey DeSmith.
Game 2 of the WBS-Hershey series is this Friday, May 6 at 7:00 p.m. at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pa.
