It’s one thing to do it once. To bat your own rebound out of mid-air and off the goalie’s back? Yeah, pretty ridiculous.

Then again, that’s the type of roll Penguins captain Sidney Crosby is on right now. Sixteen goals in 18 games. The NHL leader. Times he’s gone back-to-back games without a goal: zero.

The prettiest of those 16 might have occurred Thursday during a 6-2 win over the Dallas Stars at PPG Paints Arena, and it turned out to be the game-winner, to boot.

At 19 minutes, 38 seconds of the second period, Crosby threw a puck at Stars goaltender Antti Niemi.
