Conor Sheary and Jake Guentzel could soon be reunited with Sidney Crosby on the Penguins' top line.

For the first time in a week, Jake Guentzel, Sidney Crosby and Conor Sheary were all on the ice at the same time Tuesday morning for the Penguins.

There were some important caveats. First of all, it was just a practice. Second, Guentzel was wearing a blue no-contact jersey.

Still, considering Crosby was the only one of the trio that finished the Penguins’ 6-2 loss Sunday against Philadelphia, it was a positive sign that the Penguins’ most efficient line from earlier this month might soon be reunited in game action.

“These guys are all good players that we hope to get back in our lineup as soon as possible,” Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said.
