Linebacker Nicholas Grigsby was one of three Pitt football players to sign with teams as undrafted free agents following the 2016 NFL Draft (Cornerback Lafayette Pitts signed with the Dolphins while tight end J.P. Holtz ended up in Cleveland). Shortly after the conclusion of the event, it was announced he was signing with the Los Angeles Rams.
