Forward Papa Kante commits to Pitt Panthers

The Pittsburgh Panthers may have missed out the first time around, but it looks like the second time is the charm. After choosing the University of Michigan after having Pitt in his top five, Papa Kante has decided to sign with the Panthers after being released from his national letter of intent from the Wolverines.

Kante is a 6’10 center out of South Kent, Connecticut, and the 9th-ranked center in the nation according to 24/7 Sports. Below is a scouting report from Adam Finkelstein of 24/7 Sports.

The commitment from Kante leaves just one scholarship spot remaining on the roster after landing transfers Zach Austin from High Point and Ishmael Leggett from Rhode Island.
