With the 11th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns selected Cameron Johnson from the University of North Carolina.
The late-blooming 22 year old Johnson was projected to go anywhere from 20th to mid-second round.
It was a reach, right?
That’s what many believed at the time. But how are you feeling now?
Maybe the Suns could have traded down, picked up another asset and still selected him. However, with the way he shot the ball in college was it guaranteed he would have been there at a later pick?
