TORONTO – Devin Booker had plenty of positive things to talk about Tuesday night.
The game just wasn’t one of them.
Not only did Phoenix lose by 34 points at Indiana, 131-97, but Booker had just eight points on 4-of-12 shooting in his return after missing three games with back spasms.
“There’s no excuses to it. I just didn’t play a good game,” said Booker, who missed all four of his 3-point shot attempts, had five fouls and four turnovers in the lopsided defeat. “There’s going to be another one in a couple of days.
