The 2016-17 season will mark the first for the newly former Northern Arizona Suns (NAZ) D-League franchise.
Formerly, this franchise was the Bakersfield Jam, founded in 2006. The Northern Arizona Suns should have a similar feeling to the Bakersfield Jam, with several key members staying with the team, according to an announcement by the team.
General management won’t change, although some people have been promoted.
Remaining at general manager is Bubba Burrage, who will also continue as the director of player personnel for the Phoenix Suns. Louis Lehman will be assistant general manager for the NAZ.
