Former Suns and current Wizards player Markieff Morris was taken into custody in possession of what law enforcement officials called "suspected marijuana" at Philadelphia International Airport on Thursday, according to CSN Philly.
Law enforcement officials found "a suspicious item" in the bag Morris, who was flying with his mother among others, checked for an international flight. Another search of the bag revealed the "suspected marijuana," according to officials.
Airport security notified Tinicum Township Police. Morris was then taken to the police precinct for questioning.
He was released, but a Tinicum Township police spokesman told CSN Philly that the investigation is ongoing.
