3 Players The Suns Could Select With The No. 4 Pick In The 2016 NBA Draft

The NBA draft lottery is complete and the Phoenix Suns have the No. 4 overall pick. That high pick gives the Suns a chance to land another gifted young player to an already promising roster. With the draft order now set, it's time to take a look at a few of the players the Nuggets could take early in the first round.

One position you likely won't see the Suns target is guard. While there are several talented guards, the Suns are already loaded there. With that in mind, here 3 players the Suns could take with the No. 4 overall pick in the NBA Draft.

Dragan Bender, PF, Croatia

Assuming Bender gets past the No. 3 overall pick, it seems likely that the Suns will take him. The 7-foot-1 forward is just 18 years old. He needs to bulk up, but he can shoot the 3-pointer. Bender is very raw, but has the ability to be one of the best players from this draft class. He also fills a need at power forward, where the Suns have Mirza Teletovic starting and Jon Leuer as the backup.

Jaylen Brown, SF, Cal

A highly-touted recruit, Brown has the athleticism and the raw tools to be a very good NBA player. However, he needs work on his shooting. He should be able to help out on defense early, something the Suns need. The Suns have T.J. Warren at SF, but Brown could develop into a better player. Plus, Warren could play some stretch four if he and Brown share the court. No. 4 might be a bit early for the player that Brown is right now, but the potential is there.

Henry Ellenson, PF, Marquette

The Suns lack a player with Ellenson's skill set. Despite his comments that he could go No. 1, this is too early for Ellenson. He's a skilled big man who can shoot the 3-pointer, but with the Suns holding the No. 4 overall pick, they don't need to reach for Ellenson.
