Philadelphia Union Academy had a busy weekend in Florida for the US Soccer Development Academy Winter Showcase. The annual competition took place in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, at the Premier Sports Complex alongside the Nike International Friendlies.
The Union U-18 squad opened up the weekend with a strong 2-1 win over Real Southern California. Heading into halftime down 1-0, the Union relied on a second half comeback led by Patrick Murphy and Tiger Graham. Murphy, a defender, scored his first goal of the season. Graham’s goal puts him alone atop the entire USSDA U-18 league with 15 goals scored.
