This Saturday, December 10th marks the Sons of Ben annual Help Kick Hunger fundraiser event.
The official supporters group of the Philadelphia Union is as well known for their vivacious cheering at matches as they are for their philanthropic endeavors off the field. Their Help Kick Hunger event is their largest fundraising event of the year, and all proceeds will benefit the Bernardine Center in Chester; an organization dedicated to helping low-income Chester area residents by distributing emergency and supplemental food.
“Help Kick Hunger goes back to the start of the Union, to when it was announced that Chester would be the home of the Union's stadium,” said Sons of Ben President Bill Gusler.
