On Thursday, September 13, the Union will unveil their 2018 pediatric cancer awareness initiative at the Pennsylvania Convention Center’s Grand Hall (Level 2), part of the Keystone Comic Con. Slated for 3:00 p.m. ET, the unveil event will include Union players along with pediatric cancer patients and their families.
Earlier this year, the patients and their families visited the Union’s Power Training Complex to meet with players and design a special comic book cover that turned them into a superhero. On Thursday, the children will see the results of their design brought to life by professional artists, who will also turn the design into a warm-up jersey that the Union players will wear ahead of the club’s match vs.
