CHESTER, Pa. (January 8, 2019) – Bethlehem Steel FC announced today that the club has signed midfielder Zach Zandi (pronunciation: ZAN-dee) to a USL Championship contract. A 22-year-old midfielder from West Chester, Pa., Zandi joins Steel FC after a successful collegiate-career. The deal is pending league and federation approval.
“We are excited to welcome Zach to our club and are very pleased to have signed another Union Academy alumnus to a professional contract,” said Union Sporting Director Ernst Tanner. “He is an excellent player who had a great career at Villanova University, and we’ve followed his progress closely during his time there.
