Report: Ruben Amaro Jr. Wants To Be A Manager

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — He was a part of quite a few, but Ruben Amaro Jr.’s departure from Philadelphia was anything but ceremonious. New Phillies President Andy MacPhail and owner John Middleton sat before a room of reporters and announced that Amaro had worked his last day with the team.

That announcement came back in September and to this point, we have wondered what would become of Amaro’s career in baseball.

To this point, Amaro has decided what young players were ready to put on an MLB uniform and now he might be hoping his career will soon involve him putting on a jersey himself.
