Fungible 4/5 starter-type Cole Irvin was quite good again! His ERA is down to 3.86 in 35 innings while holding batters to a .248 average. It’s been quite a long time since we’ve seen a lefty starter make an appearance for the Phillies and Irvin has a good a chance as any to do that.
