Lehigh Valley IronPigs (53-64) – Triple A
A rough second inning for starting pitcher Sean O’Sullivan resulted in the IronPigs taking a 4-1 loss at the hands of the Syracuse Chiefs at NBT Bank Stadium in Syracuse, N.Y.
O’Sullivan (1-2, 4.97 ERA) posted a solid six innings, as he allowed four runs on four hits, but all four runs came during the second inning.
The Lehigh Valley offense never found its stride against the Syracuse pitching staff, mustering only six hits.
