Lehigh Valley IronPigs (54-69) – Triple A
A rough outing from the bullpen contributed to the IronPigs losing for the sixth time in seven games, 7-1, to the Pawtucket Red Sox at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown.
The IronPigs were trailing the Red Sox, 3-1, entering the seventh inning, but their situation went from bad to worse when relief pitcher Dalier Hinojosa allowed four runs during the frame, putting the game firmly in favor of Pawtucket.
Hinojosa’s subpar performance led to David Buchanan (3-1, 3.
