Lehigh Valley IronPigs (62-76) – Triple A
Miguel Alfredo Gonzalez posted a shaky outing and the IronPigs opened the month of September with a 10-2 loss to the Pawtucket Red Sox at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, R.I.
Gonzalez (0-1, 15.00 ERA) allowed five runs on six hits in only three innings.
Jason Berken took the mound in relief of Gonzalez and gave up four runs on five hits in only one inning, which contributed to the IronPigs trailing Pawtucket, 9-2, after four frames.
