Now is a great time to be a Phillies fan

The moment Chris Coste caught a spinning breaking ball delivered from Brett Myers to clinch the National League East title in 2007 was my favorite memory as a Phillies fan. On a day when I knew for certain the Phillies would choke away their miraculous comeback season against the Mets, the unthinkable happened.

The Mets game was over before it started with the Marlins scoring 7 runs in just one-third of an inning against future Hall of Famer Tom Glavine. In Philly, knowing they were just a win away from grabbing the prize, Jimmy Rollins led off the game with a single, stole second, came around to score, and the Phils never looked back.
