Last night against the Syracuse Chiefs, David Buchanan threw six shutout innings, but Syracuse took a one-run lead in the eighth. Newest IronPig Tyler Pastornicky hit a double and scored on a Russ Canzler single to tie the game, but late sloppiness cost the 'Pigs.
In the ninth inning, Seth Rosin issued a walk with two outs and the runner was able to score on an error by shortstop Chase d'Arnaud that broke a 1-1 tie, costing Lehigh Valley a 2-1 loss.
