Here’s how the Phillies’ minor league teams fared on Wednesday, May 27:
Lehigh Valley IronPigs – Triple A
The IronPigs have now dropped three in a row after losing twice to the Gwinnett Braves Wednesday by scores of 8-2 and 4-1 at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, Ga.
The first game of the twin bill was the completion of a game that started Monday, but was suspended and then pushed back to Wednesday due to rain.
The IronPigs posted a productive outing from the plate during Game 1, as they racked up 11 hits, but left seven runners stranded on base and went 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position.
