It took all of two dismal weeks of this baseball season in Philadelphia for last summer's favorite question to resurface: When will the Phillies promote Maikel Franco?
It's a natural question, of course. The organization's closest prospect is off to a hot start down the road in triple A while the big-league club entered the weekend producing runs at the league's worst rate and committing fielding errors at its highest rate.
But there doesn't appear to be any rush to call up Franco, nor should there be, no matter how low the team's anemic offense dips.
