The Game: 3:30 p.m. EST, TNT
On Saturday the Flyers faced the Metropolitan Division leaders in the New York Rangers and with seconds left, were inches away from tying the game. Unfortunately, Sean Couturier was left shaking his head as the puck, which bounced off the backboards to him, hit the near post and left the Flyers short.
If there’s any silver lining in the loss, it’s the fact the Flyers more then held their own against the league’s hottest team. A very strong effort despite Travis Konecny on the sidelines dealing with an upper-body injury.
