New season, same story: Flyers slow out of the gate

The Flyers are off to yet another disappointing start, primarily because they have played poorly in the early parts of their four games.

In their four opening periods, they have been outscored, 6-1, and outshot, 42-28.

"It's something we've talked about, and we have to address the problem the right way," center Pierre-Edouard Bellemare said after Friday's practice in Voorhees. "We've been outshot because we're creating the other teams' chances, with turnovers and dumping it the strong way. We have to be more mature about it. We have to change it quickly because we learned last year that every point matters.
