Flyers' Dale Weise suspended three games

Flyers winger Dale Weise was suspended for three games by the NHL's Department of Player Safety on Friday for Thursday's shoulder-to-the-head hit on Anaheim's Korbinian Holzer.

Weise was not penalized for the hit during the game.

With this suspension, Nick Cousins figures to move to the third line, and Roman Lyubimov would likely go to the fourth line.

After the second-period hit, Ryan Getzlaf tripped Weise and went to the penalty box.

The Flyers had seven power plays - five more than Anaheim - but dropped a 3-2 decision. They managed just one goal and five shots on their power plays.
