Philadelphia Flyers goaltender, Carter Hart, has been named the NHL NEXT-GEN Player of the Week for the first week of March 2020. In a week where the Flyers tie the Washington Capitals for first place in the NHL Metropolitan Division, Hart’s effort was recognized by the league. In the week, Hart secured three wins, including one on the road. The first was in Madison Square Garden against the New York Rangers and the next two at the Wells Fargo Center against the Carolina Hurricanes and Buffalo Sabres. Hart almost notched two shutouts.
