When Evgeny Medvedev was sent back to Philadelphia for evaluation on an upper-body injury yesterday, the move left the Flyers with only six healthy defensemen on their western road trip. The Flyers quickly addressed that issue this morning, recalling Davis Drewiske from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

Chris Conner, who had served as the team's 13th forward during the road trip and did not dress for a game, was returned to Lehigh Valley as a result of the move.
