Well folks, we’ve been screaming for a change and our wish was granted in a really unexpected way. While many never thought Hextall was the problem with the Philadelphia Flyers, it was becoming clear that he was not going to be the solution to get the club out of mediocrity. Let’s take a gander though all of the moves he made throughout his tenure after being named General Manager on May 7, 2014. Here are the transactions he’s made during his tenure (trades are in bold, free agent signings italicized) followed by draft classes:

June 4 - entered into affiliate contract with ECHL team Reading Royals
June 11 - signed FA Pierre-Edouard Bellemare
June 13 - extended Kimmo Timonen for one year (1 year, $2.
