Coyotes reinstate radio analyst Nick Boynton (The Associated Press)

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- The Arizona Coyotes reinstated radio analyst Nick Boynton on Friday, two months after the former NHL defenseman was suspended following his arrest at a Buffalo, New York, casino.

Boynton pleaded guilty May 8 to disorderly conduct charges and agreed to perform 100 hours of community service as well as continue with alcohol counseling. Police said Boynton was abusive toward patrons and security personnel at the Buffalo Creek Casino, became belligerent and bit the hand of an officer trying to subdue him.

''I've met with Nick several times and he knows he made a terrible mistake,'' said Anthony LeBlanc, the Coyotes' co-owner, president and CEO.
