WR Seantavius Jones Released

#Eagles release WR Seantavius Jones (non-football injury)

As the offseason workout program kicks off, the Eagles continued to make changes to the roster on a busy Monday. After signing offensive linemen Stefen Wisniewski and Matt Tobin to contracts in the morning, the Eagles released wide receiver Seantavius Jones (non-football injury) in the afternoon.

Jones was originally a rookie free agent signing of the New Orleans Saints in 2014 out of Valdosta State, where he played in 45 games and recorded 149 receptions for 2,374 yards and 33 touchdowns. He earned All-Gulf South Conference first-team honors in both his junior and senior seasons as he scored 26 touchdowns over those two campaigns.
