The more we learn about the split between Evan Mathis and Chip Kelly’s Philadelphia Eagles, the worse it sounds.
Earlier this week a story leaked about Mathis being offered an extra million dollars each in 2015 and 2016. Apparently once Kelly took over the personnel department the offer for Mathis was pulled off the table. The timing of the story made some analysts wonder if the team did something fishy, such as ESPN’s Louis Riddick:
