For years, he watched players like Brian Robison and Chad Greenway cause havoc for the Vikings’ front seven, but on Sunday Wentz faced off against the team that he grew up cheering for. Though things started slow for Wentz, he regrouped and led the Eagles to a 21-10 win over the previously undefeated Minnesota squad.
Wentz came out of the gate struggling, throwing two interceptions and losing a fumble on the Eagles’ first four drives. But rather than let things spiral out of control, Wentz took a deep breath, collected himself and put the poor plays behind him.
